Open to What You Want in Your Life

Message from the Guides:
Many greetings, dear all and sundry (especially sundry).

We hope you are finding yourselves relaxed and going about your business in a peaceful frame of mind. If not, it’s never too late. If so, please notice and appreciate your ability in this regard.

We want to say that so many of you are working so hard, inside and out, to live a good life to the best of your ability, to be of good use on this earth, to be of service to others, to be kind, to grow and identify your purpose and move always along that path. We applaud it all.

We also know that you are not always certain of your success in these areas, that you may read the above and think instantly of your failings and shortcomings and how you have wasted time, etcetera. Please release those silly notions and give yourself a hug.

If you can imagine for a moment how you would comfort someone you care for if they were feeling bad about themself, please turn it around and give yourself that support that comes so readily for another.

If there is something missing in your life, it is up to you, not just to identify it, but to make space for it, and to receive it. There is often a myth told about going out and seizing what you want, but in fact, most of it takes root only when you make space and open your heart and eyes and mind for it to enter.

Want to be happier? Open up. Want to play music? Open up. Want to be differently employed? Open open open to what you want. Of course it’s important to make some effort on your own behalf, but that is a very small aspect compared to how you prepare the ground.

If you are a gardener, of course you find a way to bring plants and seeds to your plot, but if you haven’t prepared the ground, if you have no tool to open the furrow or hole for the planting, if you don’t follow with irrigation of some kind, it is much, much harder for things to grow. (Feel free to run with this metaphor and add ideas about self-sowing plants and perennials and trees and vines, but it all has to start somewhere.)

A garden choked with unwanted plants has no room for your vision to manifest. So think about that. And if you are not present at the plot, if you are out running around seeking all the time, then who will tend what you have desired?

It’s OK to sit quietly, dreaming, on the earth. All the best things come to an open heart. And no, your heart does not need to be flung wide open and propped like that. The smallest edging crack of an opening will do. Love gets in however it can. Allow it.

Much love and many blessings to you all,
BlueStar & Counsel of Light
