Many Greetings, Dear Ones,
The times are certainly upon us. Upon you all, the disembodied creatures of the third dimension and the space time continuum. We want to say, first off, we are sorry to witness your stress and dismay. Secondly, we want to say you are more than welcome to take a step back and breathe for a moment and reconnect with the earth and sky and the goodness in your life. And third, if you think that is not possible, we invite you to do it more than once.
Breathing, the great underrated lifesaving guide to wellbeing. You all know it’s good for you, you all know how to breathe, you all must be continuing to practice it. And yet.
You hold your breath for as long as you can, you keep it reserved in certain areas of your body and your life, your puff it out resentfully or in indignation when the spirit moves you. You forget how much joy and health it can bring.
Not just surviving, but healing, and loving yourself, creating something in your life you have been missing, INSPIRATION, quite literally the act of breathing in. And when you breathe in, you must naturally breathe out again. All it takes is a small bit of attention, intention, and purpose.
Right now, in this moment, one single breath cycle, in and out. Feel it flow throughout your body and brain. Feel it move your chest and belly. Hold it in or out and see how that feels.
Can you do it without tension? Can you do it to send love throughout your being, to radiate the oxygen out from your body, to nourish your mind and your soul, to bring heart to the moment of your choosing?
Box breathing – in for a few counts, hold for the same number, out for the same number, hold for the same number, like the sides of a four square box. As long as you like. Start with maybe a count of 3 or so.
Belly breathing – sending the breath deep into your belly, stick it out, press it in to expel. Enjoy being a kid.
Side breathing – breath into and then send breath out sideways through your ribs, any rhythm or pressure you like. Just play with it, the stuff of life. All through your cells and in between them.
There is no place your breath does not reach.
We love you and wish you many good tidings of the day and yes, blessings too.
