We pop in quickly to remind you to never give up hope. To maintain your faith in the power of effort put forth for the common good, and to recognize and activate your power in the face of adversity.

Each of you has work to do in the world, and sometimes the effort must be made to heave the boulder up the hill. Other times the effort is to sit beneath the tree beside the hill and rest. And still other times your job is to nourish or support with refreshment or to chant or cheer on those whose turn it is to push the boulder.

Even as it may seem it is the same boulder and the same hill ad nauseum, it is never the same one twice. And each effort brings you and all humankind closer to understanding the best ways to get the current iteration of the job done. Sometimes it requires levers, sometimes it requires stepping aside and allowing the boulder to roll backwards and trigger an avalanche. It never, ever, requires throwing yourself under the boulder and allowing it to crush you. That is of very little service to anyone.

It isn’t easy to understand what your particular job is at any given time, but take a few moments – or a day, a week, a month – in contemplation. If the path forward is clear, take it. If it is not quite clear, pause in stirring the waters and allow them to settle into their inherent clarity. In this way you will witness the natural clearing that occurs when undue agitation is ceased, and you will also begin to find your way forward.

Time and space and humanity being what it is, there is always some up and down, some confusion, some fear, but there is also always a path forward. Don’t get so caught up in the pain that you obscure your approach from yourself. Find your way, move towards it, keep faith, bring only your heart.
